2005 : Kyoto
Some pictures of the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, a temple
dedicated to the god of harvest and rice, Inari. Temples dedicated
to Inari are often recognizable by the many statues of foxes,
who are known by myth as the messengers of the god. Fushimi
Inari is the main shrine, dedicated to this god, with thousands
of red "torii" gates and statues of foxes spread
over a wide area.

2005 : SANJA MATSURI
Some pictures of the Sanja Matsuri, one Tokyo largest traditional
festival, centered around Asakusa Temple. The festival is
known for the fact that this is one of the few occassion where
the Japanese Yakuza-gang members will show themselves (and
their tattoos
